“If you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you’re going.” These words (of poet Maya Angelou) especially ring true for this issue’s cover couple, Emilio and Stella Giordano, who met as teens. With John Jay High School as the backdrop of their story, including their shared love of theater with daughter Bella, Emilio now helps kids build confidence and self-pride as an advisor for John Jay Proscenium.
