About Jennifer

Jennifer, who has been on the Working With Words team since inception, is an accomplished communications consultant with more than 25 years of experience with researching, writing and editing content for an array of companies, formats, publications and audiences. She enjoys interviewing others to help share their stories. In fact, she’s written more than 700 feature articles for various publications, including Central New Jersey’s Courier News. Her other clients have included the New York Stock Exchange, JPMorgan and Princeton University.

Jennifer earned her bachelor’s in English/Journalism from Ohio University and found her passion for words studying literature. Feeling at home in libraries and bookstores since childhood, she always knew writing in some form would be her livelihood. From being transported to London in her favorite book, Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, to reading an informative article in New York magazine, Jenn relishes the talents and effectiveness of good writing and strives to inspire readers in her work. It was during an internship at McCall’s magazine where Jennifer found her niche in feature-article writing over literature.

During her two daughters’ younger years of school, Jennifer kept her love for books going by chairing their school’s Scholastic Book Fair for several years and has run a book club with friends for over the past 10 years. She also enjoys tennis, watching her equestrian daughters ride and now cheers on the football and equestrian teams of Penn State, where her oldest daughter attends. As a family, they enjoy travel and, once huge Disney fans, now prefer the California coast for quality time together.

Jennifer is a member of New York Women in Communications and recently re-joined Network of Writers and Artists (NOWA), which she helped co-found in the late 1990s with local, self-employed creative professionals.
